Where people, culture, and food collide.
Here's an uncomfortable truth for CPG brand owners: online channels drove more than 74% of total U.S. CPG dollar growth in 2025. Digital storefronts, Amazon, and TikTok Shop aren't side channels anymore. They're where the growth is happening, full stop.
Your customers are checking your digital presence before they buy from you, whether you've optimized it or not.
If your storefront is empty, your listings are a mess, or your digital presence looks like an afterthought, you're not neutral. You're actively losing the sale, every single day it stays that way.
Your storefront is your reputation. Most brands let it rot.

Amazon Storefronts are the one place a shopper sees your whole brand at once, no competitors, no noise. Most brands build one, then never touch it again. Amazon's algorithm punishes that: stale images and titles read as inactive, to the algorithm and the customer.
Seed gets this right. The probiotic brand's Amazon storefront mirrors its DTC site exactly, clean, science-forward, unmistakably them. A first-time shopper never has to wonder if it's the real thing.
Now picture the opposite: thin images, inconsistent listings, a third-party reseller undercutting you on your own page. That doesn't read as cheap. It reads as unmanaged, and trust is the entire game on Amazon.
The insight: Shoppers decide in seconds if you're real. Treat your storefront like Instagram: clean, consistent, on purpose. Anything less costs you the sale, and the credibility you built everywhere else.
TikTok Shop: the discovery engine, not the destination

TikTok Shop isn't where most CPG sales close. It's where they start. Customers discover on TikTok and buy on Amazon constantly, and if your two channels aren't equally clean, you lose them in the handoff.
The proof is everywhere right now. PacSun's low-rise jeans went viral from a single creator with 5,000 followers, sold 11,000 pairs in 48 hours, and helped the brand pull over $20 million in TikTok Shop revenue in 2024 alone.
Micro Ingredients saw its Vitamin D3+K2 supplement take off on TikTok and is now running Amazon sales 4-5x higher than a year ago, on the strength of creator video alone.
Neither brand planned for a single video to change their year. Both were positioned to capture it when it happened.
The brand move: get 2-3 strong creator videos, boost what works, and repost to extend reach. But none of it converts if your Amazon listing isn't ready to catch the traffic.
AI is already deciding who gets found. Most brands aren't optimized for it.

Amazon's Alexa for Shopping is reading your product images and listings with computer vision, not just scanning keywords. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google are doing the same across the open web. The question is no longer "do I rank." It's "does the AI recommend me."
That answer comes from the same place it always has: a strong website and a clean digital storefront the AI can actually read. Plain white-background photos with no context, thin product copy, an outdated site, all of it makes you invisible to a growing share of shoppers who never type a search query at all.
Brands adding usage cues, real context, and substance to their content are handing the AI a reason to recommend them. Everyone else is betting their visibility on an algorithm that's already moved on.
This is the new SEO. Brands that build for it now get the head start. Brands that wait will be optimizing for search traffic that's already gone somewhere else.
The through-line
Amazon, TikTok Shop, and DTC aren't separate strategies. They're one customer journey, and friction anywhere in it kills a sale that a competitor will happily take.
If you're not sure where your brand is leaking money across these channels, that's a conversation worth having.
